Odíhg Giyhíhd (/gij/ /hɪ̞d/ [dress; skirt] [cuff]) is a subtropical Town located in the Fùthàjù County of the Picham Community.
The name Odíhg Giyhíhd is derived from the Tauric language, as Odíhg Giyhíhd was founded by Nalwin Prodger, who was culturaly Tauric.
Climate
Odíhg Giyhíhd has a yearly average temperature of 25°C (77°F), with its average temperature during the summer being a warm 28°C (82°F) and its average temperature during the winter being a pleasant 23°C (73°F). Odíhg Giyhíhd receives an average of 170 cm/y (66 in/y) of precipitation, most of which comes in the form of rain during the fall. Odíhg Giyhíhd covers an area of nearly 5 km2 (2 mi2), and an average elevation of 2552 m (8372 ft) above sea level.
Overview
Odíhg Giyhíhd was founded durring the early 12th century in summer of the year 1117, by Nalwin Prodger. The establishment of Odíhg Giyhíhd was somewhat plagued by a lack of willing colonists, leading to Nalwin Prodger electing to pay people to resettle in Odíhg Giyhíhd.
Odíhg Giyhíhd was built using the conventions of Tauric durring the early 12th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and Odíhg Giyhíhd is no diffrent. The town's buildings feature plaster covered brickwork used to form structures with an emphasis on symmetry, proportion, geometry and the regularity of parts. Orderly arrangements of columns, pilasters and lintels, as well as the use of semicircular arches, hemispherical domes, niches and aediculae can be found everywhere such that only size of building and yard can be used to measure the general prosparity of a given building's owners due to a general wealthy feeling the style gives off.
Odíhg Giyhíhd is buildings folow an organic layout of crampt gravel streets whihch gives the town a shape simmilar to a tree, if one views its streets from above. The town emploies a series of defencive earthworks and fences to provide minimal protection against wild beasts and smaller groups of intelegent foes. The town's somewhat suffishent have recently undergone extensive repairs and renovations, such that the repairwork is imeadiently apparent and can be spotted due to the diffring ages of materials. One can't help but wonder what brought the need for those repairs to the town.
Looking around Odíhg Giyhíhd you immediately realise that the locals are looking back at you. All of them. Everywhere you look somone is staring back at you analytically, looking over every inch of you, your gear, and your companions. As you get close to people, their hands move closer to their belt knife, or dagger. You may want to watch where you go and what you say...
Civic Infrastructure
Odíhg Giyhíhd has an Office of Civil Groundskeeping, which works to enforce local ordinances relating to the construction and upkeep up of all plant life, water features, and other natural decorations within Odíhg Giyhíhd. They are also responsible for the maintenance of these features. Notably, the OCG is not responsible for Odíhg Giyhíhd's parks.
Odíhg Giyhíhd has an Office of Civil Vicary, which is responsible for providing a livelyhood for all officialy recognised religious figures within Odíhg Giyhíhd.
Odíhg Giyhíhd has a Gravedigger's Guild, which is responsible for collecting the dead and laying them to rest according to all applicable laws and religious customs.
Odíhg Giyhíhd has a Guild of Nurses, which is tasked with caring for the elderly and infirm in accordance with local ordinances, religious values, and customs.
Odíhg Giyhíhd has a Highwayman's Guild, which is tasked with maintaining the roads and highways leading into town as well as keeping them safe for travelers.
Odíhg Giyhíhd has a monistary of an order of Civil Monks, who provide divine-related services to the general public and maintain Odíhg Giyhíhd's public wards, blessings, and other arcane systems.
Odíhg Giyhíhd possesses a Galvanic Power Grid, which brings galvanic current to most if not all buildings in town, and permits a great many consumer goods to function within the Town. Odíhg Giyhíhd's grid is powered by a boiler and turbine based power plant.
Odíhg Giyhíhd's old civil lighting system was converted to Galvanic Lamps recently, and expanded to provide nighttime illumination to all city streets.
Odíhg Giyhíhd has a Parks and Recreation Department, which is responsible for the construction, management, and usage rights for all of its parks and parklands. They are not to be confused with the Office of Civil Groundskeeping as they do not hold authority over nor responsibility for Odíhg Giyhíhd's natural decorations nor waterways.
Odíhg Giyhíhd has a public schooling program overseen by the Hall of Sages who has the responsibility of ensuring access to affordable high-quality education in all basic classes (Reading, Writing, Mathmatics, General Sciences, General Arcana, and Social Education) is made available to all citizens.
Odíhg Giyhíhd has a public septic system, which allows its citizens to have indoor bathrooms. The septic system is overseen by the League of Sewerkeepers, who posses the legal authority to enforce all laws relating to the septic system, and are also tasked with its maintenance and upkeep.
Cultural Notes
The locals are convinced that there is some terrible threat against them working from within their society. It may be a matter of dark sorcerers, foreign spies, traitorous neighbors, shape shifting monsters, or some other hidden evil. This evil may be a recent fear, or it may be an inherited peril they’ve always had to guard against. The danger itself may or may not exist, or if it exists it may not justify the steps being taken.
Odíhg Giyhíhd's bank was built using a different architectural style from the rest of the town. The style used is which made use of the classical orders and mathematically precise ratios of height and width combined with a desire for symmetry, proportion, and harmony. It used columns, pediments, arches and domes are imaginatively in buildings of all types. Decorative features were seen as largely unnecessary as the sheer beauty of the structure itself was often close to art. However, many buildings with large ceiling spaces had their ceilings decorated with elaborate paintings, simply because the large flat spaces could feel wasted.
Due to the actions of local Kami, autumn is long in Odíhg Giyhíhd.
The Jack-o'-Lantern near Odíhg Giyhíhd are known to be more aggressive than normal.
Odíhg Giyhíhd's citizens partake in a curious ritual relating to their local kami. It takes place in summer and involves orgies to channel Mysticism energies of tier 2 via proclamations.

History
In time immemorial, reportedly some time during the late 2nd century Odíhg Giyhíhd was rocked by a string of powerful winter storms. The worst of the disaster struck The storm coated everything in a thick layer of ice and freezing countless animals, plants, and people to death. Odíhg Giyhíhd lost 128 people, and 316 livestock in the disaster.. The disaster is remembered as the Doom Screams, after the sounds of the winds.
